Spring is here and we're wrapping up the first production run of Power Keyboards. The first units are being packed and prepared for shipping to customers. As we shared in our April update, the next wave of Power Keys will then begin leaving the factory in mid-June.

We've made a lot of progress since our last update, so we wanted to share a few highlights here:

Manufacturing is underway

Here's a look behind the scenes at the Power Keyboard final assembly process.

Certifications are on track

We have been progressing through the final certification and compliance requirements needed to support customers around the world.

For customers in North America and Europe, testing for the United States, Canada and EU has now been completed with final CE, FCC and IC certificates now being issued.

For Japan, we're in the final stages of obtaining the required certifications for wireless and power compliance.

Certification work for Australia and New Zealand will begin immediately following the European certification process and is expected to take approximately two weeks.

How will shipping work?

A lot of people have been contacting customer support asking for more specificity around when, exactly, their Power Keyboard will ship.

Orders will be fulfilled in the order they were received.

Customers orders from outside of the United States and EU will be shipped directly from our Hong Kong warehouse. Tracking will be provided by email once shipping labels have been created.

For customers in the US and EU tracking details may take a couple weeks longer to appear. This is because we're importing your units in bulk from overseas to avoid additional tariffs and taxes. We looked at shipping direct from Hong Kong, but are unable to do so thanks to the current tariff policies. Tracking details will be provided once shipments are handed off to domestic carriers for final delivery.
